Sydney Water selected ISG to implement their Information Security programme using a competitive tender process, including a number of Big 4 Accounting firms. ISG was selected because of the experience of our consultants vs the relative inexperience of Big 4 personnel.
ISG’s used standards based approaches for implementing the information security programme based on an innovative process based methodology which was subsequently certified by SAI Global.
The outcome of the project was that some of the some of the key ideas implemented during the implementation of Sydney Water were endorsed by JASANZ and made their way into later revisions of ISO27001.
