We use workflow technologies to assist our clients to implement solutions around Application Development and Information Security. In Security we use SBM to collect evidence for operation of controls and to manage the process of scheduling and conducting routine audits and investigation of security incidents.

ISG has worked closely with Toyota Motor Corporation since 2001 to develop and improve a sophisticated SLA based management platform for controlling and reporting on the applications developed and supported by ISG. The Toyota application, based on Serena technologies including Serena Business Management and Serena PPM, have since been expanded and used by ISG for managing all consulting and technology projects.

Baseline Security Models

ISG has developed a range of leading baseline security models that have been adopted by leading utilities and government agencies to secure their business processes and technology. In 2016 ISG published it’s models to the public domain as four part series of papers outlining our approach to the adoption of cyber security.

Since the publication of these practices ISG has extended the models to continue to refine them for emerging standards and technologies, particularly in the IoT.

Business Management Systems

Over the last 20 years ISG has designed, constructed, and implemented two large scale business management systems for Toyota Motor Corporation and NSW Health. Using Microsoft technology as well as solutions from Micro Focus we are able to implement workflow solutions on secure platforms which connect with internal and external partners using web service integration or other service bus platforms.

We are also experienced in the use of Power BI and Power Apps to enable applications to be developed running in the cloud on mobile platforms connected to secure application servers and data stores.

Operating Technology Systems

ISG was engaged by Transport for NSW to establish the Traffic Congestion Management Programme within the Traffic Management Centre. Working closely with the multi modal timetabling systems as well as Operating Technology managing the NSW Traffic Light system.

Our work builds on our heritage in cyber security and the integration of operating technology security controls in the electricity, air traffic control, and nuclear science industries in Australia and South East Asia. More recently we have been involved in the management of security in the Opal Card Transport Billing system as well as the system support for the NSW Traffic Light infrastructure.

Safe Net

SafeNet is a vendor agnostic educational application reference model that has been developed after extensive consultation with schools to help them manage and streamline their IT and Administrative operations. ISG use this model to assist schools to understand their options for creating cost efficient and secure solutions
